2019 Player evaluation weekend has been postponed due to weather.
We are rescheduling for a one day event to be held on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24th. Please read below for details:
All baseball players of little league age 8 – 12 are asked to attend. Evaluations are not required of our 5-7 year olds, Juniors Baseball, Seniors baseball and all Softball divisions. We have our AA and AAA Softball rosters ready and will be providing shortly. Level A and Tee Ball is still open for registration and families will be notified of their season details starting in early March. Baseball players in A Baseball and of league age 8 are asked to attend as well!
Evals is an important start to our kid pitch baseball calendar. Players will be asked to take turns batting, fielding and running the bases. NWSLL coaches attend the evaluation in order to meet the players and their families, and better get to know each player's skill set.
The purpose of player evaluation is to place each player in the appropriate division, as well as draft teams that are equally matched in terms of experience and skill. Players who don’t attend are still placed on a team (in some cases by hat draw). Please contact the league if unable to attend.
Juniors Baseball will conduct workout following player evals to assist us in forming those rosters.

What should players bring?
Players will be running, fielding and batting. If at all possible, they should wear baseball attire including baseball cleats and baseball pants or sweats. Players should also bring a glove and water bottle, and boys should wear a protective cup.
Batting helmets, bats and baseballs will be provided but players can also wear their own helmets and hit with their own bats. There will also be extra gloves available to borrow.
What happens next?
At the end of the evaluation weekend, NWSLL coaches will get together and draft players onto teams. Everyone gets placed onto a team, even players who can’t attend one of the evaluation days.
